Chris’s services include: Trade Volume Advertising, Enhanced Market Color Options, Derivative Volume Advertising, Interactive Sales Trader Value Rankings, & Volume League Tables. A financial services professional with over 10 years of experience; Chris understands and appreciates that trade volume advertising is more important than ever before as market volatility and competition are at the highest levels in years. Sell-side traders spend a great deal of time, money and resources trying to measure and communicate their trade activity while buy-side funds and firms struggle to obtain and make use of it. There is a real problem, but Chris believes this can now be solved with the unprecedented solution of derivatives volume advertising. This solution is Vesel_interactive, the industry’s first and only tool-suite designed for both buy-side and sell-side audiences. As a Partner of this enterprise, Chris is proud to offer a platform that helps traders, firms, and customers more effectively communicate and share information. This expanding and accelerating engagement by both buy- and sell-sides continuously increases site traffic and is driving customer engagement even higher! Simply put, Vesel_interactive allows traders to finally advertise, promote and value derivatives trading.
Gabriella Gioe is Community Manager for Vesel Interactive. Vesel is an Early Stage Company that provides an alternative source of information to Wall Street professionals. Her role encompasses data base management, graphic design and marketing support. She report directly to both the CEO and Head of Sales and Business Development.
Gabriella is a graduate of Flagler College where she majored in Spanish with a concentration in Latin American Culture Studies. She also minored in Graphic Design and Fine Arts with marketing courses as a compliment.
A United States native, Gabriella has spent her the majority of her post college life in international venues stemming from internships in Spain to Latin America. Presently, she resides in Cordoba, Argentina where she works in Vesel’s local office. She speaks fluent Spanish and continues to teach English to non-English speaking students. Gioe has volunteered with Mexico’s Habitat for Humanity mission over a span of four consecutive years. She has also been a volunteer caretaker and provider at an orphanage in Antigua Guatemala.
Joe Wesley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vesel. He founded this innovative financial technology startup with a singular mission: To bring transparency to the Options Market.
Joe is a visionary industry leader with more than 20 years in the Trading and Regulatory spaces of Wall Street. He spent the early years of his career at Pershing being involved in various aspects of Discount Brokerage and Agency and Principal Trading. As his career expanded, Wesley pursued the newly relevant space of business trading supervision. He spent 5 years at Bear Stearns as a Series 24 Principal navigating the challenging dot-com regulatory environment.
In 2003, while at Bank of America, he created and managed the Global Equities Supervision Platform. During Joe’s tenure at Bank of America he also created one of the largest Equity Agency Trading desks on Wall Street. Subsequently, he branched out in order to build and manage the Special Situations Trading Desk, with the goal of bringing greater transparency and client service to OTC and SPAC securities.
In 2009, following the 2008 financial crisis, Joe moved to BTIG as Managing Director-Head of Sales and Trading Compliance. He was instrumental in streamlining protocol in order to keep Compliance current, as the regulatory environment was in a state of change. In 2012, Joe joined Cantor Fitzgerald as Managing Director-Head of Capital Markets Supervision. His role at Cantor followed a similar path as Compliance and business regulatory processes remained in flux.
Joe speaks fluent Spanish and spends his time between Argentina and New York. Joe is also involved in various forestation projects in Central New York State.
Keith’s professional career centers around coordination of all aspects of business creation, sales management, client coverage, mentoring and transaction execution processes primarily on Wall Street. Initial years on the Street were spent as an Institutional Salesperson in alternative/derivative investments followed by more senior positions of responsibility leading to upper management. During the past 20 years, Mr. Kurzner has been a Managing Director/Division Head for a series of large broker-dealers on Wall Street. Typical customers in his universe have been investment professionals and decision makers at Banks, Hedge Funds, Insurance Companies and Pension Funds. Management responsibilities were dedicated to leading and guiding a sales and trading force that established and maintained customer relationships, assured continuity with existing customers as well as servicing them in all aspects of product marketing, idea generation, information flow and follow-up. Mr. Kurzner’s role complemented the customer as he was looked upon as an extension and partner with each. Wall Street product expertise centers around Options/Derivatives, Equities and Mergers and Acquisitions which align with sales and sales management. Outside business interests include Real Estate Investment, Housing Rehabilitation/Spec Housing, early stage consulting and Angel Investing.
Kevin is a Managing Partner and CIO of Vesel_interactive, an online tool suite designed specifically for use by both sell and buy side audiences to advertise, measure and value derivatives trading. Kevin is also a partner and CIO of Wellness Plan of America. The WPA provides consumers and businesses with innovative health and wellness programs designed to support the long-term lifestyle changes required to maintain life-long wellness. Further, he serves as Director of Marketing and Customer Development for a unique nutrition wellness solution provider featuring the best of natural and organically grown foods that are individually proportioned, packaged and delivered right to the home. It is a comprehensive, nutrition-focused platform for improving health, preventing and managing chronic disease, and reducing medical costs. Providing the “missing-link” to great health, this solution offers easy access to affordable, natural and organically grown foods, coupled with personalized meal planning and tracking tools. He founded Distinct Logic in 2001 and currently serves as its President and CEO. Distinct Logic provides custom software solutions and workflow consulting, pioneering the concepts of extreme but managed business expansion without limitation or resistance from information systems or resources that support them. With over 25 years of system development and business application, Kevin designs and oversees holistic technological direction including planning, implementing and maintaining best practices for information technology for all corporate functions so as to realize timely investment return. This includes evaluating the use of existing and new technologies to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of end-to-end operations.
Kyle is an industry-recognized pioneer in the electronic trading space. In 1996, at the age of 23, he co-founded, EdgeTrade, a technology broker-dealer specializing in progressive, high performance trading systems. EdgeTrade was successfully sold to Knight Capital in 2008, where he continued to steward the institutional business to a $60 million plus revenue subsidiary. He has been a guest on CNBC, CNN, and featured in countless industry publications as an authority on market and trading infrastructure across asset classes.
Luciana’s professional career includes more than five years as an English teacher at private Elementary and High Schools in Córdoba, Argentina. Ms. Arposio was also a professional model, most recently with the Nash Agency in Argentina. She has acquired multiple certifications outside of teaching and modeling, including Commercial and Legal Translation. Luciana’s role as Client Relationship Manager at Vesel, LLC complements her dedication to delivering exceptional product knowledge with customized attention to detail.
Matt Tonelli began his career in 1997 as an equity and index options market-maker on the CBOE and the AMEX. For 13 years, Mr. Tonelli managed derivative portfolios across every asset class. He was Capstone’s Head of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange before becoming the firm’s Global Chief Risk Officer in 2010. Mr. Tonelli is a member of Capstone’s Management and Investment Committees. Mr. Tonelli received his BA from University of Pennsylvania and his MS in Risk Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Neil started SenaHill after an impressive career at Goldman Sachs, where he led the creation of a pioneering, institutional trading technology system used worldwide for over twenty years. He was the Managing Director, Global Head of REDI Products at Goldman Sachs from 2000-2006.
His leadership built REDI into the industry leading global multi-asset trading system—expanding data centers and global networking through Europe and Asia with full interdependency/ redundancy, creating a fully 24×7 global institutional trading platform.
He strategically combined the functionality of FORCE (leading FOC trading system), TradeFactory (Spear, Leeds & Kellogg’s (SLK) program trading engine), WEBet (Goldman’s institutional client futures platform) & REDI into one client facing deliverable. He furthered the product’s global leadership position through seamless integration into GS Prime Brokerage and Clearing Services.
Neil started REDI in1992 as employee number one. He hit the ground innovating, starting REDI as a single entry order pad for Listed securities (DOT) and by 1997, lead the next transformation with REDIBook (ECN), and by adding Futures & Options into a consolidated front-end. As a partner at SLK, Neil managed the sales, support, product team, and technology team. REDI extended its industry leadership, present on more than 8,000 desktops, executing over a billion shares and 10% of the market daily. Prior to joining SLK, Neil started his career in the back-office at Quick & Reilly Clearing in 1985.
Since 2006, Neil has served as President of his family office, DeSena Investments. The primary investment strategy is focused on taking minority stakes in a diversified portfolio within the Financial Technology arena. He also serves on the board of directors of two portfolio companies.
